The National Weather Service Skywarn Training schedule is out. Here is a list of the local events:
- March 7 @ 6:30pm – [Holmes Co.] East Holmes Fire Station, 5257 Country Road 77, Millersburg
- March 14 @ 6:00pm – [Ashland Co.] Ashland County Sheriff Annex, 1205 E. Main St., Ashland
- March 21 @ 6:00pm – [Summit Co.] American Red Cross, 501 W. Market St., Akron. The EMA is requesting that you fill out a training application and email or fax it to Jenna Beckett at [email protected] or 330.643.2889 by March 12, 2018.
- March 21 @ 6:30pm – Jackson High School, 7600 Fulton Rd., Massillon
- March 26 @ 6:00pm – OSU Wooster Campus Fisher Auditorium Rm 103, 1680 Madison Ave., Wooster. This event requires pre-registration (click here)!
- April 3 @ 6:30pm – Medina Co. Career Center Auditorium, 1101 W. Liberty St., Medina
- April 12 @ 6:00 – Maplewood Career Center Dining Room, 7075 State Rte 88, Ravenna
