Local Skywarn classes are occuring in March an April.

The Bob Bohn Memorial Fox Hunt will be held on Saturday, March 21st, 2026. Hunters should rally at Buhler’s in Wadsworth (175 Great Oaks Trl, Wadsworth, OH 44281) by 10:00am and check in with the event coordinator.
The start will be at 10:15am with no more participant envelopes/starts after 10:30am.

February starts our “Dues are Due” campaign for 2026-27. SARA’s membership year is April 1st through March 31st.

SARA will be holding a clinic for new licensees titled “I Have My License, Now What?” on Saturday, February 28, 2026 from 10 am – 12 noon. The clinic will be held at the Rittman Wayne Co. Public Library – 75 N. Main St. Rittman, Ohio. The goal of the clinic is to encourage new license holders to get on the air and stay active in amateur radio.

The new 60-meter frequencies approved by the FCC in December will become available to amateurs as of February 13, 2026, along with new power restrictions on those frequencies. It’s a bit confusing, as different rules apply to different segments of the band.
