Northern Ohio Amateur Radio (NOARS) is hosting “NOARS PortableDay – Ham Radio Show and Tell”. The event is Sunday, June 7 from 10-3 in Pavilion 1 of South Central Park, at Bainbridge Rd and Rt. 83 in North Ridgeville.
Enter the parking lot from Rt. 83. See what portable gear other hams use and bring yours to show. Bringing gear is not necessary to attend; you can come look at ham radio gear up close and personal and meet other hams. Special appearance by Frank Roman, KC8VKA, AKA Mr. Antenna. Frank will show us how to build a dipole antenna and demonstrate various antennas, such as magnetic
loops and screwdriver antennas. He will also introduce us to Rapid Deployment Amateur Radio (RaDAR). If you wish, bring gear to swap.
