Summit County ARES is still in need of quite a few volunteers to support their work with the Akron Marathon on September 25th. Every year, Summit County ARES provides the volunteers to staff the communications for the aid stations and the mile marker observers. Both positions are an easy way to volunteer in your community and exercise your ham radio skills. If you can spare a few hours on the 25th, please consider volunteering.
