The annual SARA Family Picnic will be held on Sunday, August 18th from 1pm to 4pm! We will be returning to Silver Creek Metro Park at the Sherman Shelter. This event is for SARA club members and their families only.
SARA will provide the main course of burgers and hotdogs, including buns and condiments. SARA members are asked to bring a side dish and dessert to share, as well as drinks for themselves and their families. The meal will begin promptly at 1pm.
As a reminder, alcohol and pets are not permitted in Summit County Metroparks.
The Sherman Shelter is easily accessible to all from the main parking area by the beachhouse. Any of the three entrances to the main park (two on Medina Line, one on Hametown) can be used to get to the shelter. Follow the signs for “Beach” from all three entrances and then park in the lot to the left when reaching the beach area.
