🎯 The Goal: 2 Activations in 1 Evening
This is a fun opportunity to get two activations in one.
Since the UTC day ends at 8pm Eastern, you can get 2 activations in 1 day!
- Activation #1: Make your first 10 contacts before 8:00 PM
- Activation #2: Make 10 additional contacts after 8:00 PM
⚡ What to Expect
- Casual, come-and-go operating
- A great opportunity to see a variety of portable setups
- Learn from others and get ideas for your own POTA station
- No club callsign—everyone operates and submits their logs individually
📻 What to Bring
- Yourself
- Radio, antenna, and power source
- Logging method (paper or digital)
Note:
- There will NOT be a designated club station
- There will NOT be provided food or beverages
- You are responsible for submitting your own logs to the POTA website
- The shelter has three electrical outlets available
- Many operators are happy to share and let you operate their rigs—don’t hesitate to ask!

POTA is ON—rain or shine (unless there is thunder).
Dress for the weather. It is still April, so dress warm!

📡 Bonus: Ohio NVIS Day
This is also Ohio NVIS Day! While the official event runs from 10 AM – 4 PM (before our activation), feel free to bring NVIS antennas and experiment—you never know what contacts you might make.
